Meghan Markle Dazzles in an All White Cut-Out Dress

The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, was photographed in yet another fashion-forward moment, dazzling the people and paparazzi with her amazing ensemble. The actress turned royal family member, embraced the cut-out dress trend, and must we say, she rocked it as only she can. Read about how the Duchess mesmerized once again.

The Invictus Games

The royal couple graced the Invictus Games once again and the duchess looked as beautiful as ever. This time, Meghan Markle wore a beautiful white dress from luxury clothing designer Valentino. The dress has floral cutouts spanning across the shoulder and neckline, giving it a fresh look perfect for the bright spring weather. Markle paired the dress with a bold red lip color and her hair parted to one side. Meghan Markle attended the event with her husband Prince Harry, who rocked a tan suit.

The Week of Whites

This is not the first time this week Meghan Markle has opted for a white ensemble. For her appearance at The Hague, she opted for an all-white oversized suit. For the event’s opening ceremony, she opted for an off-the-shoulder white top. Lastly, completing the trifecta, Meghan Markle wore a Brandon Maxwell belted coat for a volleyball match. The cherry on top was the cut-out dress worn for the Invictus Game.

The Event

During the reception, the duchess was seen speaking to the members of the Canadian team. The royal couple are parents to two children, two-year-old Archie, and 10-month-old Lilibet. During the event, the duchess bonded with another mother, Mandy, whose son’s name was Harrison. Meghan Markle also confided that the couple was reportedly confused about their son’s name sequence, and decided on Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor. The couple also visited Queen Elizabeth during this trip, which is their first joint trip since their move to California in 2020.

What Is A Nap Dress And Why Are They Everywhere?

Fashion trends come and go quicker than you can say “Dolce and Gabbana,” but there’s something about the Nap Dress that just won’t go away. Of course, we’re not sad about this fact, as this is the kind of dress that we’ve been dreaming of our whole lives. It’s comfortable, it’s stylish, it’s versatile, and it’s just downright chic. However, if you’re not quite familiar with this dress just yet, this is why the Nap Dress is just so darn popular.

What Is It?

The first question many people have about the Nap Dress is about what it actually is. You may be upset to learn that it’s not a dress specifically designed for you to have a nap in – but there are no rules against it if you do fancy a little midday siesta. Instead, the Nap Dress has come to life thanks to Hill House Home, which was founded by Nell Diamond. After working in finance for many years, Diamond found herself struggling to find clothes that fit her “Victorian Ghost” aesthetic. So, she decided to create her own dress, and that’s where the Nap Dress comes into play.

A Real-Life Nightgown

What’s so amazing about this dress is the fact that it’s bringing a nightgown into the daytime aesthetic. With ruffled detailing, long hemlines, off-the-shoulder necklines, and other modest but stylish design choices, they’re unlike the short and tight dresses that most of us are used to seeing and wearing. However, who doesn’t want to embody the wonderful ladies of Little Women? With everything going on in the world at the moment, Nap Dresses have become even more popular. While they are comfortable to wear around the house, you can also team them up with some sandals and a bag to head to the grocery store.

So, will you be adding a Nap Dress to your closet? We definitely will be.
