Penelope Cruz Pairs Flared Jeans With Y2K Platform Sandals

Penelope Cruz is no stranger to red carpets. The Spanish actress first walked a global red carpet in 1991, and there has been no turning back for this beauty. Over the years, Cruz has established herself as a force to reckon with not only for her immense acting talent but also her exquisite fashion sense. And while she knows how to razzle dazzle on the red carpet, Cruz is also equally stunning when she opts for a casual touch in her clothing, like her outfit at the Ferrari promotional tours.

The Y2K Outfit

The Ferrari movie’s promotional tour took them to the New York International Film Festival, where Cruz was decked out in Y2K fashion with a twist. The 49-year-old sported a pair of matching flared jeans and a denim jacket embellished with embroidery along with a white top.

Cruz polished off her outfit with another Y2K-inspired addition; a pair of black platform sandals! The 2023 runway season has seen many of flare jeans popping up, like from designers Nina Ricci and Rokh, where they were worn with romantic blouses and metallic shoes.

The Movie

Director Michael Mann’s dream project is finally coming to life as Ferrari is set to release on Christmas Day. The high-paced movie will focus on the infamous 1975 Mille Miglia Race across Italy which went from a thrilling event to a tragedy.

Actor Adam Driver will be playing the lead role of Enzo Ferrari, and Penelope Cruz will stand by his side in the role of his wife Laura. Other cast members include Shailene Woodley, Patrick Dempsey, Jack O’Connell, Sarah Gadon, and Gabriel Leone.
