Prada Brings Mountain Experience to Stockholm with Pop-up Outdoors

Prada’s famous outdoor pop-up series is going to the capital of Sweden this Saturday. It will be done ahead of Stockholm Fashion Week, happening from Aug 31 to Sept 2- which is finally returning to a physical format. People can witness this outdoor pop-up concept at Norrmalmstorg town square in central Stockholm. It will be right next to the upscale store NK Stockholm.

What’s in Store at the Outdoor Pop-up Series?

The outdoor pop-up is a series of shops and in-store installations. The series is like a story of emotions told by four settings – Garden, Mountain, Coast, and Snow. Each set offers a selection of original products that are synonymous with the respective environment.

After rolling out the Outdoor Garden theme in China in April – the pop-up went to countries like U.S, Japan, Thailand, South Korea, United Arab Emirates, Singapore, and Turkey. They eventually added cost and mountain themes to the mix.

Themes Explored Over the Years Around the World

The themes are not limited to the product selection – the decoration is well done to induce that feeling – in New York, the Prada store was created as a beach setting – it had rocks, sand dunes, white and ocean-blue tents, and=more.

In Stockholm this year, the pop-up space is devoted to mountains – it celebrates mountains and all the opportunities they offer. The pop-up at Stockholm will be created as a luxurious trekking camp surrounded by green grass and trees. It will also offer space for unwinding and socializing. It will have a never seen before collection for both men and women.

What Kind of Products Can One Expect?

For women, the collection will entail metal buckles embedded check-print Re-Nylon dress, nylon raincoat, recycled melange mouline yarn knitwear, vests with a backpack, and much more. For men, one can expect to find multi-pocket vests, sleeveless down jackets, silk twill pajamas, double-match printed shirts with an overprinted logo.

With respect to accessories, one can expect to see tartan printed padded backpacks, single-shoulder backpacks, bucket hats, yoga sets, sporty mirrored glasses, and more.
