Christopher Bailey will receive a CBE (Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire) for his contributions to fashion following his departure from Burberry after 17 years. He rose through the ranks to become its creative director and president in his first decade at the company. Bailey was on the Queen’s New Year’s Honors list, which was released Saturday, December 29.

He stepped down from his post in March 2018. His last fashion show was at the London Fashion Week in February, which was dedicated to the LGBTQ+ community. Model Cara Delevingnee wrapped up the shindig with this iconic rainbow coat.
Bailey joined in 2001 when he was 29 years old and transformed the brand into a household name worldwide. He attended the Royal College of Art, which granted him an honorary degree in 2013.

But what will Bailey be doing with his spare time now that he isn’t at Burberry? “I’m going to definitely spend time with my two beautiful little girls, and then I’m exploring, I’m talking to people,” Bailey said. “I’m still curious, but I really very genuinely haven’t decided how I want this next phase of my life… But I feel very calm about it.”
As for his time at Burberry, Bailey said, “I’ve been really fortunate to have worked somewhere that I loved, so I’m not in a rush to run into something. I want to take my time. And that could end up being something big again or could end up being something tiny and very artisanal.”

Burberry is in good hands though, as the former creative director of Givenchy has taken the helm. This is none other than Riccardo Tisci, who has already put his mark on the company with a new logo.
Other people on the list include 1960s fashion icon Twiggy, author Margaret Atwood (who wrote the book that inspired the hit Netflix show, The Handmaid’s Tale), and England football manager Gareth Southgate.
40+ Surprising Celebrity Breakups Throughout the 2000s
Stars — they’re just like us! They fall in love and break up just as the rest of us ordinary folks do. But there’s something arresting and all-encompassing about a celebrity couple as their relationship plays out in the public spotlight. We keep our fingers crossed for them to work. We mourn the breakup and pick sides, if it’s dramatic. And we root for them as they move on with their lives and find love again. Here are our top picks for the most surprising celebrity breakups throughout the 2000s.
Taylor Swift and Harry Styles
We wanted Taylor Swift and Harry Styles to work so badly. They were highly talented and immensely famous musicians who were at the top of their respective games. Dating rumors began in 2012 — when they met backstage at an awards show.

When they actually started seeing each other seriously, they kept it surprisingly low-key given how high profile the two of them were. But in 2013, they had a fight during a shared vacation and called it quits after just a few months together.
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt
The divorce and subsequent fallout of Hollywood power couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt completely shocked us. From the circumstances of their whirlwind get-together story — the pair really hit it off while filming the action flick Mr. and Mrs. Smith — to the multiple children they adopted and had, following the relationship was like a real-life drama.

Currently, the divorce continues to play out in court with new allegations frequently arising. But the decade that they were together was a beautiful one!
Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart
People really got invested in Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart’s relationship, and we’re pretty certain we know the reason why: Twilight. The two met on set in 2008 as they starred in the popular franchise, which was based on a book series. And just as their romance unfolded onscreen, real-life romance blossomed off-screen.

They tried to keep the relationship private, but suffered for it — they didn’t hold hands in public, Stewart admitted. The relationship didn’t weather the storm of a 2012 cheating scandal.
Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus
When a relationship is as on-again, off-again as the one between Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus, maybe it isn’t very accurate to label it a surprising celebrity breakup. But we were really rooting for Hemsworth and Cyrus because it seemed more on-again than off-again. All told, they were together (and apart) for more than a decade, first meeting as costars on the movie The Last Song in 2010.

They started dating and making public appearances that year … and also suffered their first breakup … and got back together … and broke up again. Later, they became engaged and got married, but they finalized their divorce in 2020.
Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron
Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron’s relationship lasted for five years, which is about the timeframe for what we expect for high school sweethearts. Four years together seeing each other every day in school — and one additional year of trying to make it work long-distance after graduation.

Hudgens and Efron met on the set of Disney’s High School Musical in 2005 — the same year they started quietly dating. They stuck together throughout the franchise before breaking up in 2010. There have been rumors of a reconciliation, but honestly, when are there not? Recently, they seem to have fallen out of contact.
Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber
Ah, young love. The world really enjoyed watching Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber start their relationship — canoodling as teens in an IHOP in 2010. They don’t have their official public debut as a couple until 2011, but the media and their fans have already started calling them “Jelena.”

Their split in 2012 is well documented, but the breakup period afterward is perhaps even better remembered. It was full of social media drama, rumors of secret dating, and a flurry of musical exchanges as the two continued to release new music.
Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore
Perhaps even more surprising than the breakup was the relationship itself when it came to Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore. The two actors had to overcome public scrutiny over a pretty brutal age gap — 15 years — as well as their considerable fame.

They started dating back in 2003 and decided to tie the knot just two years later. After six years of being married, they announced their split. The divorce wasn’t finalized for two years.
Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan
We were huge fans of Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan when they were married. They made us want to take dancing lessons, particularly since they met on the set of 2006’s Step Up, a dancing flick. At that point, both actors and dancers were young.

Their careers eventually took off in a big way — particularly for Tatum, who starred in Magic Mike, 21 Jump Street, and many other projects. The two married in 2009 … and split up in 2018. They share a daughter.
Heidi Klum and Seal
As badly as we wanted it to work out, there’s no kiss from a rose for Heidi Klum and Seal. The supermodel and singer split up in 2012, after seven years of marriage. Not even an annual renewal of their vows throughout their relationship could save the union — nor the banging Halloween party the couple hosted each year.

The pair met in a hotel lobby in New York City in 2004. Later that year, Seal proposed. In 2011, however, they split — bickering over tempers, child custody, and much more.
Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony
After her split from Ben Affleck, Jennifer Lopez married musical legend Marc Anthony. It’s part of the reason the breakup with Affleck was so surprising — she called off one wedding and got married that exact same year.

Lopez and Anthony had dated before back in 1999 during a musical collaboration. Together, Lopez and Anthony have twins in 2008 before breaking up in a highly dramatic divorce in 2011. We just want J.Lo to be happy!
Melanie Griffith and Antonio Banderas
As it happens so often with actors, Melanie Griffith and Antonio Banderas met on the set of a movie they were working on together — Two Much. Interestingly enough, they were both married at the time — and both got divorced as their romance blossomed.

There must be something about pretending to be in love that actually makes actors want to pursue their co-stars in real life. Griffith and Banderas were married from 1996 to 2015, a relationship so long that we got used to seeing them together. What a shocker!
Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe
Hollywood heartthrobs Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe were married for seven years before they broke the public’s collective heart by calling it quits in 2006. They finalized their divorce two years later, and have two children together.

We loved Witherspoon and Phillippe’s chemistry onscreen in the searing movie Cruel Intentions. Do any actors who play onscreen couples ever make for lasting relationships out in the real world? Either way, we were devastated when this couple split.
Anna Faris and Chris Pratt
This one really hurt. Anna Faris and Chris Pratt were couple goals for many reasons. First of all, they were both comedic geniuses. They met on the set of a movie they were working on together in 2007. Just two years later, they were married.

In 2012, they had a son. However, in 2017, Faris and Pratt ended their marriage in “disappointment,” as their joint statement said. We’re sure no one is more disappointed than us that this one didn’t work out.
Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield
We loved the relationship between Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield — especially since they played onscreen love interests in 2010’s The Amazing Spider-Man. But when two actors as big as these get together, it isn’t easy actually staying together.

The demands of their respective careers left them without enough time to see each other and maintain the relationship. So when they broke up for good in 2015, they kept supporting each other as friends.
Robin Wright and Sean Penn
Robin Wright and Sean Penn are another example of a long-lasting Hollywood romance between two stars — even if their relationship was somewhat tumultuous. They started dating after meeting on the set of a movie they were working together on. It happened to be right as Penn and singer Madonna were going through a messy divorce.

Wright and Penn had two children together, which caused Wright to put her career on hold just as it was starting to blossom. They broke up in 1995, but got back together the following year and married in 1997. Then, from 2007 to 2010, the pair repeatedly filed and retracted divorces until their ultimate split.
Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt
You almost can’t think of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie without thinking of Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston. After all, Pitt left Aniston in order to be with Jolie — a true Hollywood scandal. Aniston and Pitt met in 1994 and went on their first date in 1998. In 1999, they made their public debut as a couple and got engaged shortly thereafter.

It was a public love story between two likable and attractive people. Pitt had a guest appearance on Aniston’s hit series Friends. But then, in 2005, the couple split. Things were rocky for a while, but it seems like lately these two are becoming friends again.
Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries
When you can measure the duration of your marriage in a handful of days, there has to be something going wrong. Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries started dating at the end of 2010. Less than half a year later, they were engaged.

The engagement was even shorter than the relationship, as the pair tied the knot in a made-for-TV event later that same year. But the marriage was the shortest period of all. After just 72 days, Kardashian filed for divorce.
Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez
Rounding out our exploration of singer and actress Jennifer Lopez’s surprising breakups, we have to talk about her most recent one with former baseball player Alex Rodriguez. The two started dating in 2017 — and got engaged in 2019.

But then, as everyone who lived it knows, the pandemic struck in 2020, forcing a postponement of the impending wedding. Rumors start swirling of a breakup in early 2021, but it isn’t confirmed until April. Maybe we can hold out hope for Lopez to get back together with Ben Affleck!
Sandra Bullock and Jesse James
Ah, love at first sight. We only wish it could have lasted longer, because we think Sandra Bullock is wonderful and deserves all the good things in the world. But when she and TV actor Jesse James met in 2003, their attraction toward each other culminated in marriage by 2005.

It breaks our heart, then, that in 2010, the same year that Bullock gave James a gushing shout-out in an awards season speech, allegations of infidelity started surfacing. It took just a few months for Bullock to file for divorce.
Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert
When two members of country music royalty get together, they’re either going to stay together for life … or go down in flames in a very big way. Unfortunately, singers Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert chose the latter path. When the two of them met, they were both already in relationships — perhaps a red flag that they chose to ignore. Regardless, Shelton and Lambert got engaged in 2010 after dating for five years.

They married the following year, but their busy schedules kept them apart for longer than they liked. When everything hit the fan in 2015, the pair filed for divorce as they accused each other of cheating. Now that’s a country song.
Joshua Jackson and Diane Kruger
Actors Joshua Jackson and Diane Kruger started dating in 2006 before breaking up in 2016. You should know by now that 10 years of dating in celebrity years is like 30 years of dating in regular people years.

The breakup was even more shocking because of the manner in which it happened. Kruger left Jackson to date her costar, Norman Reedus, which allegedly broke Jackson’s heart. Happily, he’s now moved on.
Fergie and Josh Duhamel
Fergie and Josh Duhamel first met each other in 2004 on the set of the series Las Vegas. The singer had a guest role on the show, and it seemed like it was love at first sight. After three years, they were engaged. After they were married in 2009, however, it took just a few months for Duhamel to be accused of infidelity.

The couple weathered the storm and had a son in 2013. But just four years later, Fergie and Duhamel announced their split from each other. Inside sources say it was a matter of the two drifting apart.
Johnny Depp and Amber Heard
Oh, the drama that is Johnny Depp and Amber Heard. We’re betting that if there was such thing as a real time machine, both of them wish they could get in it and warn their younger selves never to get together. Their rocky relationship began in 2012 though they met several years prior while acting together in the movie The Rum Diary. Shortly thereafter, they were engaged and married.

However, by 2016, Heard filed for divorce and accused Depp of physical abuse. Depp then accused her of abuse. After a string of messy lawsuits, both actors have been subsequently dropped from future film projects. Yikes.
Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick
Out of all the Kardashians, the longest-lasting relationship had to have been that between eldest sister Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick, the father of her children. They had great onscreen chemistry in the reality show Keeping Up With the Kardashians — as well as meteoric fights.

With the nature of their relationship — sometimes on, sometimes off — it was kind of a relief to see them working well together while co-parenting their kids (and without being involved romantically). They’d toyed around with getting back together romantically, but now both are in relationships.
Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson
Sometimes, things can happen in the blink of an eye. A train wreck, for example. Or the train wreck that was the whirlwind rebound, romance, engagement, and breakup between Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson. Right after both of them had ended long-term relationships, they got together.

But within the span of a couple of weeks, they were engaged. Since things were moving so fast, maybe we shouldn’t have been surprised that they split up just a handful of months later. What can we say? At least it spawned some good music from Grande.
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s relationship might have only lasted for two years, but it was a big deal at the time. The pair met on the set of Gigli in 2002 — Lopez was married at the time — and got together later that year. He was in her music video before proposing, but the wedding never happened.

Here’s something that gives us a little hope, though — it seems like Lopez and Affleck might be giving things another go. They’ve recently been spotted spending time together. We might be on the brink of Bennifer — again!
Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey
Singers Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey were young when they met in 1998. By the time they started dating and working together, neither of them could possibly realize the impact they would have on pop culture. They got married in 2002 and the ceremony was broadcast in a TV special the following year.

It was also in 2003 that Simpson and Lachey launched Newlyweds, a reality TV show that followed their marriage. They divorced in 2005. As anyone who saw the show can attest, they were an odd pairing.
Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams
Actors Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams didn’t exactly have a storybook romance. They dated from 2005 to 2007, and the relationship had its ups and downs.

What was really remarkable about it, however, is that it mirrored, in a way, the relationship of the characters they played in The Notebook, a romance movie that sparked fans’ imagination. It broke our hearts that much more when Gosling and McAdams broke off their real-life relationship.
Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman
Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman were an iconic couple thanks to their combined stardom. They met on the set of Days of Thunder and married just after Cruise divorced his then-wife Mimi Rogers. Kidman describes the experience as being swept off her feet. The two went on to star in other memorable roles in projects together.

In 2001, however, the power couple split up. You might remember the amazing photos of Kidman celebrating in the streets afterward. So why did they divorce? “Nicole knows why,” Cruise always says, allegedly.
Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin
Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin were married for 13 years before getting divorced in 2016. Their breakup was surprising, sure, but probably the most memorable contribution it had to popular culture was the term “consciously uncoupling.” The two coined the phrase from a therapist as they broke apart amicably.

In a recent essay, Paltrow said she simply recognized that the marriage was over long before they got a divorce. But in consciously uncoupling, they continue to love parts of each other and remain a family for their children.
Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx
We loved it when Katie Holmes bounced back from her split with Tom Cruise, falling for Jamie Foxx. Holmes and Foxx lived out their six-year relationship in secret, away from the public eye.

There were never any juicy tidbits of gossip coming from either of them, and they were rarely seen together. There were plenty of rumors, however, swirling around the cause of their breakup — though none have been confirmed.
Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon
After a whirlwind romance that only lasted six weeks, Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon got married in a romantic event in the Bahamas. That was in 2008, and what followed was a set of twins for the couple … and eventual divorce. Why can’t we have nice things?

Because we really liked Carey and Cannon together. The couple announced their separation in 2014 and the divorce was finalized in 2016. Now, they support each other and have a good co-parenting situation, sources say.
Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes
You may best remember this relationship from shouted his love confessions while standing on Oprah’s couch. However, we remember it for its shocking end. Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes got married in 2006 soon following the birth of their daughter. However, in 2012, Holmes abruptly filed for divorce, apparently blindsiding Cruise.

She was awarded primary custody of their daughter. So why did they divorce? There are plenty of rumors about it, most of them centered around Cruise’s devotion to Scientology.
John Cena and Nikki Bella
When wrestling royalty like John Cena and Nikki Bella get together and start dating, you have to wonder if it’s all some kind of publicity stunt — or a part of a storyline for the wrestling world that everyone is going to see play out.

But Cena and Bella dated for six years before splitting up in 2018. As Bella describes their relationship in her book, she very much wanted marriage and children. Cena, on the other hand, very much did not.
Eva Longoria and Tony Parker
Actress Eva Longoria and basketball player Tony Parker met in 2004 but didn’t confirm their budding relationship until the following year. After a brief split in 2006, perhaps foreshadowing their future breakup, they got married in 2007.

Divorce came for the couple in 2011, though Longoria filed for it in the year before after finding hundreds of lurid text messages from one of Parker’s teammate’s wives on Parker’s phone. Fortunately, both have found happiness with other partners.
Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale
We really, really wanted Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale to work out their differences and be together forever. The two of them represented such relationship goals. She was the lead singer of her band, No Doubt. He was the lead singer and guitarist of his band, Bush.

They were married for a blistering 13 years before finalizing their divorce and splitting everything up in 2016. They also share two children from their relationship.
Kris Jenner and Caitlyn Jenner
We’re of the opinion that one of the most shocking Kardashian splits of all was between Kris Jenner and Caitlyn Jenner. The pair split in 2013 after a whopping 22 years of marriage, during which they had famous daughters Kylie and Kendall Jenner — all while presiding over the rest of the Kardashian brood.

The breakup played out over the family’s reality TV show in heartbreaking fashion. Today, however, Kris Jenner says that she has a respectful relationship with Caitlyn, who has struck out on her own path.
Katy Perry and John Mayer
One of our favorite celebrity couple relationships — and subsequent breakups — has to be that of Katy Perry and John Mayer. It might seem a little bit callous of us, but we love it when talented musicians pair off because we know what’s coming — excellent music.

That high feeling of love when everything is good together gave them both the inspiration to create. But so did the lows of breaking up — and Perry and Mayer broke up at least three times during their tumultuous relationship.
Demi Lovato and Wilmer Valderrama
Singer and actress Demi Lovato and actor Wilmer Valderrama dated for nearly six years. The two of them overcame a significant age gap in the relationship only to have things fall apart officially — and for good — in 2016.

Happily, they continue to work together, such as on an animated film released on Netflix, and be supportive of each other. When Valderrama announced that his fiancee was pregnant, Lovato congratulated him.
Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting
Everybody was rooting for Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting to work out, especially as they started dating just as she began her breakout role as Penny on the TV series The Big Bang Theory. The pair got engaged toward the end of 2013 and spent just under two years married before it all fell apart.

So what happened? Officially, it was irreconcilable differences. According to Cuoco, however, Sweeting changed completely once they tied the knot. She claims he wasn’t the person she first met.
Courteney Cox and David Arquette
I scream, you scream, we all scream for … people who can remain friends after falling in love and getting a divorce. We understand that not everything always works out like that, but we have to say that, once we got over the shock of Courteney Cox and David Arquette splitting up in 2010, we love that they’ve continued to be able to work together — and co-parent their daughter.

Cox and Arquette met on the set of the thriller Scream in 1996 and got married three years later.
Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber
We really thought Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber were in it for the long haul. Their relationship spanned more than a decade, and had magical beginnings. The couple first met in 2005 at the annual Met gala and went out for cupcakes the following day.

Schreiber recounted continuing to woo Watts over email. While the pair never married, they had two sons together and made plenty of appearances together. They broke it off in 2020.
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West
It was more than just another Kardashian moment when Kim Kardashian and Kanye West tied the knot. It was a cultural touchstone, especially with West’s immense popularity and music and fashion brands. For ten years, the two of them inspired each other to take on new projects and push themselves creatively.

However, their marriage spiraled out of control thanks to Keeping Up With the Kardashians —and West’s apparent struggles. As their values diverged, Kardashian filed for divorce in February 2021.
The Weeknd and Bella Hadid
In Coachella 2015, The Weeknd and Bella Hadid had been spotted hanging out. The couple was on and off for a whole year. Both their fans went crazy over the news of the superstars dating. About a year later, in November 2016, the couple called it off.

Only two months later, Abel started dating Selena Gomez. However, they were photographed kissing at Coachella 2018. They broke up in August 2019. Based on the on and off relationship status of the two, who knows what’s actually going on?
Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux
Famous TV series Friends star Jennifer Aniston and actor Justin Theroux called it quit after three years of their marriage. The couple got into a relationship in 2011 and married each other after dating for almost four years.

Their decision to separate might be disheartening for the fans but they kept everything friendly between them. The couple was seen to celebrate Thanksgiving together even after declaring their separation.
Jude Law and Sienna Miller
This couple met for the first time on the set of Alfie in 2003. Jude was going through a separation with his ex-wife Sadie Frost. Jude and Sadie had three children together. Later in 2004, it was revealed that Jude proposed to Miller on the Christmas of that year.

However, Jude was alleged of having an affair with the nanny of his children. They reunited for the last time in 2010 on the Met Gala red carpet event. Nonetheless, the couple split up again in early 2011.
Katy Perry and Russell Brand
Singer Katy Perry and comedian Russell Brand met each other at the MTV VMAs in 2008. In the following year, after reconnecting in the same event, the pair started seeing each other. The couple got engaged in India.

They married in 2010 and separated in 2011. According to Russell, Katy’s busy schedule got into the way of their relationship. Katy felt a lack of support from Russell for her career. Russell notified Katy about the separation over a text.
Tom Hiddleston and Taylor Swift
In June of 2016, Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston were so much into each other that they even introduced each other to their respective parents. This passionate relationship ended with a thud. It is heard that Tom wanted the relationship to be public whereas Taylor wanted her life to be kept private.

Taylor was accustomed to the backlash of the public displays of relationships. It is also said that Tom was using Taylor for fame and “he was in love with the idea of her.”
Helena Bonham Carter and Tim Burton
The Crown star Helena Bonham and director Tim Burton dated each other for 13 years. The couple did not marry each other but gave birth to two children. Helena and Burton met each other on the movie set of Planet of the Apes.

Despite being romantically involved, the couple never married each other because they reportedly had a complicated relationship. Yet they are successful co-parents of their children.
Tyga and Kylie Jenner
Though we love seeing Kylie and Travis together, Kylie had a long relationship with Tyga. They met each other at a birthday party in 2011. They started seeing each other in 2014 and the relationship lasted for three years.

The relationship was associated with a lot of rumors, such as engagement, marriage, and pregnancy. Tyga was alleged of texting and hanging out with models. Kylie mentioned that public life also put overwhelming pressure on their relationship.
Lamar Odom and Khloé Kardashian
Khloé and Odom seemed to be a very nice couple at first, but later they ended everything. The separation was ugly. The couple tied their knot just after a month of meeting each other. However, in 2013, Khloé took legal steps of separation reporting infidelity and abuse.

In 2015, the Khloé annulled their separation when Odom was found comatose at a brothel in Nevada. Nevertheless, the couple could not reunite and in 2016, they were announced single legally.
Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney
Did you know Lady Gaga was with Taylor Kinney before she was engaged to Christian Karino? The “Paparazzi” singer was in a relationship with Taylor Kinney for five years. In 2016, Gaga declared their separation via an Instagram post.

Though it was a post declaring the split up, Gaga was too kind to express her love and respect for Kinney. She also asked everyone to root for them. Gaga moved on and got engaged to Karino. However, they also got separated. As per Gaga’s post, she and Kinney were soul mates.
Bradley Cooper and Irina Shayk
Everyone would vote for Bradley Cooper and Irina Shayk as the most glamorous Hollywood couple. In 2015 there were rumors about the two dating. To our surprise, they gave birth to a lovely girl in 2017. They decided to split up and the news broke in June of 2019.

We have not been able to crack the reason for the hottest couple to call it off. They co-parent Lea de seine Shayk cooper. However, at the 2019 BAFTA Award, Cooper thanked Shayk for her endless support.
Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom
The ever-so-famous Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom started dating in 2007. Keeping the relationship a secret, they even managed to pull off a restricted wedding in 2010. Later in 2011, the couple welcomed their son.

Breaking our hearts, Bloom’s rep declared their split in 2013. However, the couple decided to love and support each other as co-parents to their son. They also respect the relationship they had as a family. Both reported to move on as Kerr married Evan and Bloom got engaged to Katy perry.
Ryan Reynolds and Scarlett Johansson
According to rumors, the Canadian-American actor Ryan Reynolds started dating ScarJo in 2007. They were reported to get hitched in 2008 on Vancouver Island. Later, the couple declared their separation in December 2010.

In a recent public appearance, ScarJo mentioned she was only 23 when she got married. She says she romanticized it and ended up getting married. Fans were broken by their separation. Currently, Ryan is married to Gossip Girl famous Blake Lively, and ScarJo is engaged to Colin Jost.
Selena Gomez and The Weeknd
Selena Gomes and The Weekend had a relationship of 10 months. Their relationship was filled with PDA and sweet stories about each other. Right after two months of breaking up with Bella Hadid, Weekend was spotted with Gomez, making out in public.

They even appeared as a couple in the Met Gala red carpet event. The couple adopted a puppy while they were in New York. Weekend released a song that seemed to be aimed at Justin Bieber, Gomez’s ex. However, they split up within a year.
Olivier Martinez and Halle Berry
Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez met each other on the set of the movie Dark Tide in 2010. The couple dated for three years and married each other at Chateau in France in 2013. Halle and Olivier welcomed their son that same year.

This amazing couple called quits to their relationship after two years of conjugal life. They announced their separation with a joint statement. According to rumors, the couple had a lot of differences that led them to fight. Perhaps, this was the reason behind the separation.
Penn Badgley and Blake Lively
The casts of Gossip Girls dated each other in real life like they did on set. They started seeing each other during the first three seasons of the show which was from 2007 to 2010. When asked about the relationship both of them clearly denied it.

However, they were spotted together and later photographed making out in public. The couple was extremely professional and they did not let anyone on the set know that they broke up. Both the actors are happily married in their new relationships.
Kate Hudson and Matthew Bellamy
In the Spring of 2010, Kate Hudson and Matthew Bellamy started dating. Soon they started seeing each other, they got engaged and had a child. In December 2014, it was revealed that the pair broke up.

According to Hudson, they had a great relationship, but their visions were different on how they wanted to live their lives and what they wanted from their lives. They are successful co-parents of their children.
Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards
Perrie Edwards and Zayn Malik were arguably one of the most celebrated pairs. The couple started seeing each other in 2011. With both stars gaining recognition from music-based reality shows, they quickly became the internet’s favorite couple.

Zayn popped the question in 2013, and the internet went crazy again. However, two years later, the couple drifted apart from each other and eventually separated in 2015 after Malik left One Direction.
Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris
Singer Taylor Swift and Scottish DJ Calvin Harris started seeing each other in February of 2015. It was the longest relationship Swift had. Swift was always dating famous guys but none of the relationships seemed to last.

Right after they broke up, Swift started dating Tom Hiddleston. Swift and Calvin broke up in the late May of 2016 and, after a week, she started seeing Tom. The reason behind separation was not cheating – rather the busy work schedules that got into the way of their relationship.
Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult
Hoult and Lawrence met each other on the set of the X-Men: First Class and immediately started dating each other. Although Jennifer dated a lot, she stayed with Hoult for four years. They ended their relationship in 2013 only to reconcile on the set of X-Men: Days of Future Past.

Yet they broke up again, stating the conflicting schedules. Later in 2019, they starred in the Dark Phoenix, but this time, they didn’t reconcile.
