Kim Kardashian is known for being a pretty stylish person, but sometimes her choices make us scratch our heads. Choosing to don this Balenciaga design, she walked the 2021 Met Gala carpet and definitely turned some heads.

It turns out, though, that Kim wasn’t fully on board at first. In fact, according to the powerhouse, “I fought against it. I was like, I don’t know how I could wear the mask. Why would I want to cover my face?” she recalls. “But Demna and the team were like, This is a costume gala. This is not a Vanity Fair party where everyone looks beautiful. There’s a theme and you have to wear the mask. That is the look.”

Taron Edgerton walked the red carpet thanks to his epic portrayal of the iconic Elton John in the biopic Rocketman. Because of this, in 2019, he was expected to really show up in character — especially since the Met Gala theme was a camp theme.

The theory first arrived in a YouTube video in 2014 which pointed to evidence that there are similarities between the two as well as between their parents. The theory went viral and is one of the most well-known in the celeb conspiracy theory world.

Stevie Wonder, the legendary singer-songwriter famous for being blind, has just been pretending for the last six decades. According to ESPN’s Bomani Jones, the artist frequently attends basketball games, once caught a mic stand, is interested in photography, and has once taken a photo. It seems the Wonder does all this and other things that are typical of people who can see. Furthermore, in 2016, Stevie was seen “looking down” at an envelope to present an award at the Grammys.

A theory believed by some people out there who have popped a crazy pill or two claims that the CIA murdered Bob Marley because he and other reggae musicians were working together to alert the public of the CIA’s attempt to bring down the Jamaican Prime Minister, Michael Manley. To add to the conspiracy, ex-agent Bill Oxley confessed on his death bed to killing the artist. Whether the ex-CIA agent was telling the truth or not, we may never know.

A theory out there claims that the Beatles star, Paul McCartney, actually died in a car accident in 1966 and was replaced by a look-a-like. Proof? When played backward, words in the track “Revolution 9” sound suspiciously like “Turn me on, dead man.” To add to this, at the end of their other hit “I’m So Tired,” there is mumbling. When played backward this can be imagined as “Paul is a dead man. Miss him. Miss him. Miss him.” Fans are continuing to uncover clues.

The conspiracy named “Babygate” was founded on the idea that the whole pregnancy, birth, and photos of Freddie were faked to distract the world from “Larry Stylinson” – the supposed secret relationship between Louis Tomlinson and fellow band member Harry Styles (the name is a combination of their first and last names).

Apparently, sharing a name with the wife of William Shakespeare means that maybe Anne Hathaway is married to the man himself, but reincarnated, obviously. Anne is actually married to Adam Shulman, who could be the famous writer in a new life. While one conspiracy theory suggests she is the mother of her sister, another says Beyoncé was never actually pregnant with her daughter Blue Ivy Carter. Instead, she and Jay-Z used a surrogate. This came about when Beyoncé sat down for an interview and the video footage showed her belly apparently folding. Some say that Blue Ivy is the remaking of Eulb Yiv, Satan’s daughter, although it is not quite clear where these bizarre people got this idea from.

While authorities claimed that her death was likely caused by suicide, many believe she was murdered instead. Why? A year after filming the sci-fi classic 2001: A Space Odyssey, the theory goes that the U.S. government hired Stanley Kubrick to fake the Apollo 11 moon landing in 1969. The reason? Despite this, his daughter refused to believe the conspiracy saying, “But, claims that the moon landings were faked and filmed by my father? However, conspiracy theories started to spread that the 74-year-old presenter Jack Palance had read out the wrong name. In 1994, Hollywood Reporter wrote, “…last year Marisa Tomei received her Oscar statue by error, with a resultant scandal about it soon to be exposed.”

The legendary American rapper, known as 2Pac, had reportedly died from getting involved in a shooting back in 1996 after leaving a boxing match. However, some conspiracy theorists believe this to be a hoax and that the artist used his “death” to escape to Cuba from his increasingly dangerous celebrity status. What makes this believable? Firstly, the shooters were never found. Secondly, 2Pac always wore a bulletproof vest. And thirdly, the man who cremated the rapper strangely retired immediately afterward.

When season two of Stranger Things aired on Netflix, fans noticed that new character Dacre Montgomery, who plays Billy, has a striking resemblance to the popular actor Zac Efron. This began a barrage of memes, tweets, and comments with impressed fans. The resemblance was so alike that people began to announce that Billy was actually Zac Efron’s father in the Stranger Things universe. But will Efron then make an appearance in a later season? We all know that actors and actresses are incredibly dedicated to their work, so much so that they will stage all kinds of stunts to stay relevant—kind of like Jennifer Lawrence, who fell at the Oscars in 2014. Many in the audience felt Jennifer Lawrence faked or exaggerated the infamous 2014 awards show fall that almost took down three of her celeb peers. She did this all for the sake of fame and fortune. If we’re totally honest with ourselves, we would be asking, who is Lina Morgana? Most people haven’t heard of her and according to believers, Gaga’s “Monster” is all about Morgana’s murder and the man who helped Gaga pull it off.

We can all recall that time when Kristen Stewart was photographed kissing her director behind Robert Pattinson’s back? Apparently, that was all part of their plan. This theory claims that Kirsten and Robert faked their split in the most public way possible not only to amplify publicity for their respective films but to protect their relationship’s privacy for the rest of their lives. All we’re wondering is, did Courtney have the wherewithal to have pulled this off?

Apparently, he was concerned the world would reject Louis Tomlinson’s secret love with fellow One Direction bandmate Harry Styles. Hence, their record label falsified the birth of Tomlinson’s son, Louis, with his ex-girlfriend, Brianna. The conspiracy is now referred to as “baby gate” and gained traction on Twitter in 2015.

When Nina Grunfeld, a Norweigan Filmmaker, looks at J.K. Rowling, she doesn’t see one of the all-time greatest rags-to-riches stories. She saw a cover-up. People have accused Khloé of actually being the daughter of OJ Simpson. The theory that has been lingering for years was re-awakened by Amber Rose in 2015 during a Twitter feud. Khloé herself saw the light of the situation and referred to the conspiracy saying, “Some days I’m OJ’s daughter. Others I’m Robert’s daughter.”

Cage may be many types of actor, but to some, he is also a vampire. The conspiracy emerged when a photo taken in 1870 of a man that has a truly striking resemblance to the actor appeared on eBay. The man who posted the picture believes Cage is a vampire who reinvents himself every 75 years or so. However, for the most part, his roles in Vampire’s Kiss and Ghost Rider are where his bloodsucking days end. Nicolas pointed out himself the fact you can’t take photographs of vampires.

MJ’s daughter, Paris Jackson, posted a photo to Instagram of herself in a car. Immediately, conspiracy theorists and social media users used the photo as “proof” that the figure in the back of the car was Michael Jackson himself. Despite an LA coroner confirming his body was in the bag, theorists continue to seek the “truth.” There’s a whole website dedicated to “sightings” of the King of Pop. Some even say that he faked his death to make more money through sales.

In addition to her many other conspiracy theories, Swift has been accused of yet another publicity stunt. Many believe that her almost eight-year-long beef with Kanye West was completely made up. Despite the pair appearing like they hate each other and putting all that effort into their disagreements, these two may have more in common than we thought and their fight has just been for show.
